It’s officially December! If you haven’t already guessed, I love love Christmas time, and now I can be as Christmassy as I want without anyone telling me it’s too early! Last week was the start of the Making Magical Christmas Memories challenge, and I was so happy to see so many great Christmas posts sharing what everyone has been up to! I just can’t wait to see what everyone has to share this week!
In our house this week we have made some really simple Christmas ornaments together (blog post to come on this on Saturday), had a very special guest arrive, and we got out our Advent Calendar yesterday to start counting down to the big day.
It made me so happy to see how excited the children were about opening the first drawer of the calendar. Even the girls, who didn’t really know what was going on, had big grins on their faces and were bouncing up and down on their toes. The special Advent activity for the day was: read a Christmas story.
I loved each and every post everyone shared last week, and I just had to feature some of my favourites:
A Litte Space Like Home had some festive fun with Christmas playdough
Marita from Stuff with Thing and her beautiful daughter had some true Christmas spirit sending off a Christmas care package to our Defense personnel serving overseas
Learning 4 Kids had fun sponge printing some gorgeous home-made wrapping paper
and Trish from My Little Drummer Boys and her sons had a magical visit with Santa
